  • Overview

Based on data from the pivotal ZUMA-7 and TRANSFORM trials, the second-line treatment of relapsed/refractory (R/R) large B-cell lymphoma now includes CAR T-cell therapy, which has been shown to improve progression-free survival and overall survival compared to platinum-based chemoimmunotherapy. Real-world data has even confirmed these findings, although logistical barriers keep all eligible patients from receiving this treatment. Joining Dr. Charles Turck to discuss the latest efficacy and safety data on CAR T-cell therapy and how we can optimize it in clinical practice is Dr. Matthew Matasar, Chief of the Division of Blood Disorders at the Rutgers Cancer Institute and Professor of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
